Wahlberg's Epauletted Fruit Bat (Epomophorus wahlbergi)
Eight of these guys live in the white strelitzia bush by my front door. Two of the females recently had pups, so the group has grown to ten. They hang underneath the giant leaves during the day, and at night we see them feeding on the wild figs in my neighbor's yard. They often catch insects that are attracted by the outside security light.
